I like listening to data…
Sometimes wisdom is with the crowd, sometimes it's with a lonesome leader. My job is to assess the situation. About meI received my Ph.D. in Systems theory from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UCSB where I worked with Francesco Bullo on distributed decision making. I had previously studied stochastic strategies for bacterial survival with Mustafa Khammash also at UCSB getting my Master of Science in Systems Biology. Being an electrical engineer by training, I know a thing or two about signal processing and communication, a topic in which I got my Master of Science in Electrical engineering after studying stability of the adaptive delta modulation algorithm with Soura Dasgupta at the University of Iowa. Before coming to the US, I lived in Lebanon where I got my Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering at the American University of Beirut.
Areas of Technical CompetenceI am interested in a variety of application of systems theory.
